For its consistent and proactive partnership with IBM, Beans Group has been named IBM ASEAN "ISV of the Year”. The company which comprises of Singalab Pte Ltd, Beans Factory HK Co Ltd, Beans Factory Sols Sdn Bhd, Beans Factory Beijing Co Ltd and Beans Factory GuangZhou Co Ltd, specializes in technology-oriented solutions addressing EAI and BPM, as well as industry-oriented solutions addressing retail banking and eCommerce needs.

Beans Group CEO, Ng Kek Wee, said he was pleasantly surprised by this honor.

Ng describes Beans Groups' relationship with IBM as strategic as it enables the company to leverage the breadth and depth of IBM Technology and Solutions as well as its established global brand presence. "IBM products have proven capabilities especially In robustness and scalability. By developing our solutions on IBM platforms, we are increasing our reach and strengthening our salability." Ng added.
Beans Groups solutions leverage on the following IBM middleware solutions including WebSphere Message Broker, WebSphere Message Queue, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Portal Server, Lotus Domino, IBM DB2 and IBM DB2 CM . The partnership has also put Beans Group in the forefront of the field of technology they specialize in and has helped the company achieve wider market recognition. "IBM endorsement is crucial to gain acceptance and assurance to the yet-unconvinced. Our partnership with IBM gives us access to markets and new solution areas that we could not have reached on our own." Ng stated.
The longstanding relationship with IBM has resulted in many wins, including two recent ones from the banking and government sector.
