Beans Group wins major SOA/ESB Contract with Malaysia's Lembaga Tabung Haji

BEANS is pleased to be awarded by Lembaga Tabung Haji (LTH) for the installation, development and testing of its SOA/ESB system interconnecting its various financial subsidiaries Bank Islam and Bank Rakyat. The proposed system will remove all point-to-point integration approaches and migrate towards an ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) driven approach resulting in a a more flexible and maintainable system that supports numerous protocols and standards. The system shall integrate LTH's call center and ATMs with its core AS400 systems and also interoperate with LTH's subsidiaries Bank Islam and Bank Rakyat.

About Lembaga Tabung Haji
It is the Malaysian Islamic pilgrims fund board responsible:

  1. To enable Muslims to save gradually to support their expenditure during pilgrimage and for other beneficial purposes
  2. To enable Muslims to have active and effective participations in investment activities permissible in Islam through their savings and
  3. To protect, safeguard interests and ensures welfare of pilgrims during pilgrimage by providing various facilities and services

There are two financial banks under its charge Bank Islam and Bank Rakyat.


Beans Group launches Business Process Modeling Initiative

Alliance Bank Bank Malaysia has gone the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) / Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) route
